DESIGNATED LEARNING INSTITUTION

Under the International Students Program (ISP), the Kensley College in Canada is a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) with DLI# O265645296910. A Designated Learning Institution, or DLI, is a school/college that admits international students and allows them to obtain a Canadian study permit.

According to the changes introduced in Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), effective from June 1, 2014, the new policies will have the below-mentioned changes.

The new rules have a major impact on:

  • Students are required to pursue studies actively without significant breaks while in Canada.
  • The number of issued permits for a DLI college will be limited to ensure meeting minimum quality standards.
  • Full-time international students studying at DLI designated institutions are allowed to work part-time off-campus and full time during scheduled school breaks ( even without the requirement of the work permit)

As of January 7, 2021, changes issued by Immigration and citizenship, all the international travellers 5 years of age or older will be required to present a negative COVID-19 test result before boarding. Furthermore, a mandatory of 14-day quarantine or isolation is levied upon reaching the state.

Kensley is equipped with all the new changes and rules accordingly with the Citizenship, and Immigration Canada (CIC) permits. You can also see the list of DLIs with approved COVID-19 readiness plans here.
